Christian Buckley has a background in technical project management and business management spanning the last two decades, with much of that time working with collaboration and social computing software platforms. His first experience with SharePoint was in 2005 with an attempt to build a simple portfolio management solution using Project Server and WSS. He was unsuccessful in getting things to work as planned. Despite this experience, he saw the potential of SharePoint and decided to get more involved with the community, eventually joining Microsoft to help launch their hosted SharePoint business.
